Since 1960, Camp Lookout has provided thousands of participants with life-changing experiences. Some have renewed their faith in Christ, others have made commitments to fulltime ministries, and still others have discovered Christ for the first time. In an attempt to expand its ministry for persons of all ages to experience Christian growth and fellowship to become a year-around place of service, the Board of Directors has recently completed a long-range strategic planning process to examine all aspects of its ministry. The resulting Master Plan calls for the completion of several phases of capital improvements. The Holston Conference Council on Finance and Administration has given its permission for the Camp Lookout Board of Directors to undertake a capital campaign to raise funds to undertake a capital campaign to raise funds to underwrite these improvements. Please plan toattend a meeting on Sunday, July 23rd at 3:00pm EDT at Keith Memorial UMC in athens to share your reactions and insights with those providing oversight to the campaign. The meeting will last under two hours. If you cannot make it on this date, the Chattanooga District will be metting on Sunday, July16th at 3:00pm EDT at Brainerd UMC and at 6:00pm CDT at Sulphur Springs UMC in Sequatchie Valley.

Celebration Day

Join us for our end of the summer Celebration! Sunday, August 6th, 2006 Visit with other campers and our staff. Come swim, climb on the climbing wall and other activites available to campers, as well as enjoy a hot dog picnic. Supper at 5:30 other fun starts at 3pm Bring your family, friends, and join us for fun!

Third Annual Benefit Golf Tournament

Make plans now to participate or to sponsor this great event held at The Bear Trace at Harriosn Bay on Saturday, August 26 - 8:00 Tee Time. All proceeds benefit the ministries of Camp Lookout. Cost for tournament is $100 per person. This includes everything; a continental breakfast, lunch, team prizes, goodie bags, and many great door prizes. Sponsorships start at $50 and go to $1000.
