Mark your calendar now for this special day for senior adults (50+). Cost is $10 and includes; coffee and snacks at registration and an awesome LUNCH! The day inclues a variety of music, devotions, fellowship, and entertainment, & workshops.

Reservations are requested by April 21.

Special Guest: Bob Bostick, Conference staff for Older Adults in the Holston Conference.

Confirmation Retreat Febuary 15 & 16

This retreat will begin with registration and supper on Friday at 6:00pm and will end on Saturday at 4:00

Including: High & Low Ropes Courses, Archery, Climbing Wall, Hiking and Bouldering Wall!!!

Participants should bring: Bible, notebook, sleeping bag or blanket and sheets, warm camp clothes, pillow and personal toiletries

We will be using the United Methodist Confirmation material Claim the Name Confirmation Teaching Plans 6-15 weeks and Claim the Name Retreats for Continuing the Journey, published by Cokesbury

Cost of the event: (including lodging, 3 meals, snacks, and program expenses) is $50.00 per confirmand and $35:00 per adult leader. Confirmation class leaders (pastors and/or educators) should attend. Your group mustbring enough adults to supervise students of the same gender at a ratio of 1 to 7.

Make plans now to join us October 23rd for Senior Adult Day. Cost is $10 and includes; coffee and snacks at regestration and an awesome lunch! The day includes a variety of music, devotions, fellowship, and entertainment. Reservations are requested. Regestration will start at 9:30 and our day will conclude at 2:00.

Fourth Annual Golf Benefit Tournament

Our Fourth Annual Golf Benefit Tournament was a great success. With 18 four person teams, we had a totel of 72 golfers. This great event was once again held at The Bear Trace at Harrison Bay. We were able to raise over sixteen thousand dollars to add in our ministry. Thanks to all the sponsers, golfers, and voulenteers for making this the most successful Golf Tournament yet. As soon as we have a date for next year’s Fifth Annual Golf Benefit Tournament, we will let you all know.

Summer Camp

Our 2007 Summer Camp season is over and it was a great success. We had 693 campers this summer and approximately 300 faith commitments. The staff and campers all had a great time this summer. Start making plans now to join us for next summer!
